Been to many cirque shows. Great show. A few of the acts were the best I’ve seen out of the 4 other shows (O, Mystre, Love, and Volta). If your reading reviews before show. Please go in with an open mind. If your close minded, I don’t think any cirque or theater art is for you. Don’t under stand all the bad reviews. All cirques story lines are creative. But they also leave room for your imagination to take over. As for the acrobats and ice skating.... Olympic quality if not better. Only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5, was because some of acts where out dated for the newest show out there. But still a great performance and beautiful cast.

MEH
This is the 4th Cirque show we have seen in 2yrs and I am usually just in awe and we have driven from Minneapolis to Chicago to see things. This time we drove to Milwaukee and I didn’t hate the show but I didn’t feel like the show was up to the caliber we usually see. The music was good but it felt very flat and low energy. I liked the energy of the Jump number and wouldve like to see more of that. Crystal was very good. This one wasn’t a wow for me, the least favorite of the ones I have seen

SO HARD TO WATCH....
This show made no sense. I don’t know why there was a martial arts guy in the middle of the show. This part made no sense at all. Many skaters fell. The “light” they were supposedly stealing kept flickering and going out. The show stopped for technical difficulties. I am a huge fan of Cirque but this was a huge flop. I also paid extra for seats close to the floor but with the light boxes and angles, I wasted my money. We moved 10 rows higher up and the seats were much better. This performance really looked like.some sort of dress rehearsal. Can’t believe I wasters $200.

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL, MELT THE ICE, YOU'RE JUST NOT MEANT TO SKATE
Great music and light show, but I felt like I was watching a kids figure skating show. Acrobatics were practically non existant. They started off the show with a 20 minute skating dance with a choagraphy that lacked inspiration. It was then followed by at 15 minute diablo act where the performer has either never done it before or drank heavily before the show. Oh an then a martial artist joins the circus and starts play fighting with himself. It really felt like half the performers quite or called in sick and the lighting crew had to step in. Couteless mistake were made in this show. The clown, in this case a human controlled dog robot, was probably the worst part of this disaster. The show had a few nice moments but in all, it missed the mark.

NOT MY THING
This was a bizarre and mediocre ice show. I would have preferred a more classic set of acrobatics. I understood that it was on ice, but simply thought it would be more typical of the other Cirque shows I've seen. Costumes were garish and very "futuristic," a la The Jetsons and there was an odd robotic dog, controlled by a human that they tried to incorporate into the show. None of it made any sense and I'm really sorry I paid 80+ dollars for each of our seats. I won't give it one star, since there was clearly "some" talent, but I hope Cirque never makes another show like this.

BAD SHOW, GREAT ATHLETES AND MUSIC
I tried to go into this show with an open mind because I thought Crystal was incredible. Needless to say, this was not my favorite Cirque show by any means, and I've been to quite a few and go every year. The storyline made no sense to me even after reading what it was supposed to be during intermission and none of the acts really flowed together. It was already going to be so hard holding a candle to Crystal but this show really fell flat and wasn't exciting or magical. However, the singing was lovely and I still applaud the athleticism of everyone in the show.

SO DISAPPOINTED
This is the 4th Cirque show we have been to and this one was really terrible! Not at the amazing level of the other shows. Just did not make sense, bad bad bad. So disappointed expensive The overall story was so weak and random stuff was going on. The skating was only so so. Such limited acrobatics just sad.
